A soft, durable, lightweight, malleable metal with appearance ranging from silvery to dull grey, depending on the surface roughness. Aluminium is nonmagnetic, nonsparking and is resistant to rust.

With these traits it is no wonder it is the most extensively used metal and the largest contract traded.
